GENERAL INFORMATION

  1. The Seller delivers the goods in Lithuania (except Curonian Spit).
  2. The Buyer, by selecting the delivery service at the time of ordering, undertakes to provide the exact delivery address, postal code, the exact contact telephone number and other additional information (staircase code, etc.).
  3. The Buyer undertakes to accept the goods himself. In the event that the Buyer is unable to accept delivery of the goods himself and the goods are delivered to the specified address, the Buyer is not entitled to make a complaint against the Seller for delivery of the goods to the wrong entity.
  4. The Buyer undertakes to accept the goods on the following day after the Buyer is notified that the goods will be delivered. If the Buyer fails to accept and/or collect the parcel, the parcel will be re-shipped. The Seller is entitled to charge the Buyer for the re-deliveries if they incur additional costs.
  5. Goods are delivered by the Seller or by the Seller’s authorised representative (courier).
  6. The Seller delivers the Goods to the Buyer in accordance with the terms set out in the descriptions of the Goods. In exceptional cases, the delivery of the Goods may be delayed due to unforeseen circumstances beyond the control of the Seller. In such case, the Seller undertakes to contact the Buyer immediately to agree on the terms of delivery.
  7. In all cases, the Seller is exempt from liability for breach of the time limits for delivery of the goods if the goods are not delivered to the Buyer or are not delivered on time due to the Buyer’s fault or due to circumstances beyond the Seller’s control.
  8. The delivery price is fixed and does not change when you buy more than one item. For purchases of more than 10 items the delivery price must be agreed on with carolhome.lt in advance.
  9. The Buyer must immediately inform the Seller if the parcel is delivered in broken or otherwise damaged packaging, if the parcel contains unordered goods or the wrong quantity of goods, or if the product is incomplete. If separate goods with different delivery times are in the same order, the longer delivery time applies to the whole order. Thus, if one order contains one product with a delivery time of 1 to 5 days and another with a delivery time of 1 to 4 weeks, the longer delivery time will apply to the whole order. If you wish to have different delivery dates for the items you have selected during the same shopping, please place separate orders.
  10. If the Buyer notices any damage to the packaging at the time of delivery, the Buyer must make a note of the damage on the delivery note provided by the courier, or draw up a separate report of the damage. The Buyer must do so in the presence of the courier. Failure to do so exempts the Seller from liability for damage to the goods in respect of packaging damage not noted by the Buyer in the courier’s delivery note.
  11. The Buyer may not change the delivery address at his/her discretion once the shipment has been dispatched. If the delivery address is changed by personal consultation with the courier or other delivery service, the Seller is not liable for compliance with the delivery deadline and is entitled to charge the Buyer for additional costs incurred due to the customer’s arbitrary change of the delivery address once the parcel has been shipped. The costs incurred may be covered by an additional invoice to the Buyer or deducted from the amount of the returned goods.
